Mozilla Firefox 3 in the pipeline

Its official release is planned for later this year, but test versions of the new Firefox 3 are already available for developers and testers. Qoben uses this test version to make sure that its clients' web sites work flawlessly when Firefox 3 is released.

Firefox is Mozilla's best-known browser and is the second most-used browser in the world. Version 3 comes with improvements in three areas: ease of browsing, security, and web technologies. The changes in the web technologies may affect the way web pages are displayed. Therefore, web pages must be verified to see if they work equally well in the coming version. Qoben already verifies its clients' web sites with the test versions to make sure they are ready for the coming Firefox release.

Since Firefox 3 is still in the development phase, Mozilla advises users to wait for the final release later this year.
